I knew it was going to hurt for awhile after that drain was placed but this is intense. Yesterday it took me forever to get out of bed then last night i discovered i was almost out of pain killers so I decided to just take one and i could stretch them out and mom could go get me some this morning. I was suppose to go to my parents to eat but after changing clothes I decided not only did i need another pill but there was no way i was going to be able to get back off the couch. Mom quit cooking dinner and went to wal-mart so i would have my pills this morning. Tuesday cannot come fast enough because it should be ready to pull.

I understand your pain! I had a seton drain in at one point for 6 months. Then I had another one in for four months and I could not take painkillers because I had to work! I hope you get it removed and I hope things go better for you. My reconnection is up in the air til I talk to an anal motility specialist in June because of some concerns from Dr. Gutierrez.
ReplyDeleteThe way I am going i may not be reconnected until August. Safari said he would like to give it a couple of months to heal so that would be around June. However, we have a trip planned for early August to go to CA for my sister's graduation. I am afraid if i have the surgery to late I will need to find a bathroom every 30 min. or I will still be recovering from complications.
